Farmers Protest: Taapsee Pannu, Diljit Dosanjh, Swara Bhasker, Sonu Sood, Vir Das And Others React

The protest by farmers against the recently passed bill has intensified. Farmers from Haryana have marched towards Delhi. However, at the border, the farmers were reportedly stalled using water cannons and tear gas by the police. Reportedly, the farmers didn't budge and they have been now given the permission to enter the capital. Reportedly, the Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has also stated that talks will be conducted with the farmers next week and the protest should stop. Amidst this, the visuals of the protest are all over social media, calling for different reactions from people. Celebs like Taapsee Pannu, Swara Bhasker and others have also reacted.

Taapsee Pannu has made several tweets giving her sarcastic take on the updates over Farmers Protest. Sonu Sood, who has been in the news of late for helping the migrants during the pandemic, took to Twitter and wrote, "Kisaan mera bhagwaan (Farmer is my God)." Diljit Dosanjh on Instagram wrote, "Baba BHALI Karey Ang Sang Sahai Hove."

Vir Das spoke about the use of water cannons against farmers and wrote, "You just fired tons of water from water canons on farmers who are the worst hit every year by our national water crisis...and then they offered you drinking water. Drink that in." Swara Bhasker also had harsh words to say as she tweeted, "SHAMEFUL conduct ! Shame on @mlkhattar govt. It’s 14 degrees in Sonepat just now!!!! Cruel inhuman people!"
